Job Opportunity: Operations Support Role

Join our team at Countrystyle Recycling, operating the largest independent fleet of modern waste management vehicles in Kent, London, and the South East. We are seeking a dedicated individual to support our Commercial team in strategic planning, fuel production, and waste management operations.

Salary & Job Details

• Salary: £28,000 per annum
• Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week

About Us

We operate a fleet including dustcarts, skip trucks, hook loaders, and bulk haulage lorries, serving Kent, London, and the South East.

Role Responsibilities

• Support the planning and development of fuel production for EfW and biomass plants in the UK and Europe, and recycled gypsum powder production.
• Assist with weighbridge operations and ensure compliance with site and regulatory standards.
• Manage contract KPIs, pre-notifications, bookings, logistics, invoicing, and rebate administration.
• Prepare quarterly waste returns and assist with forecasting to meet budget targets.
• Oversee vehicle and load compliance, weight recording, and documentation accuracy.
• Promote health and safety practices among staff and visitors.

Candidate Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook (intermediate level).
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Experience in operations, administration, or waste industry preferred.
• GCSEs A-C or equivalent; familiarity with AMCS system beneficial.
