We are seeking a talented individual to join our Commercial and Sport Underwriting team at Victor Insurance UK. This role is based in Witham and offers a hybrid working arrangement.

Victor operates as a Managing General Agency (MGA), providing a wide range of commercial combined, property, liability, motor, and specialty insurance products in the UK. This position presents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a market-leading MGA.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and maintain relationships with regional brokers, colleagues, and clients across the UK.
2. Collaborate with the Commercial and Sport (specialising in Golf Masters) team to underwrite business and develop strong relationships.
3. Identify opportunities to offer solutions to existing client/broker accounts by evaluating applicant circumstances and determining insurance risks.
4. Underwrite both new and existing business within your delegated authority.
5. Communicate effectively with senior staff to ensure clarity and foster positive relationships.
6. Prioritize clients and customers by working within SLAs and maintaining high service standards.
7. Liaise with brokers and colleagues to increase profitable relationships, both virtually and in person.
8. Issue insurance policies by calculating premiums and negotiating terms with regional brokers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience in Commercial Combined Insurance.
• Experience using digital trading platforms.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Golf Insurance knowledge or passion for sports.
• Previous underwriting experience.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills.
• Experience with binding and delegated authority.
