Job summary

British Airways is seeking a Commercial Analytics & Insights Analyst to help shape decisions behind how we fly, invest, and serve customers. You’ll forecast performance, analyse trends, and support targets across Commercial, Finance and Network teams.

You will turn data into clear recommendations, work with senior stakeholders, and explore AI-driven tools to enhance analytic processes and insights across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience analysing data and producing actionable insights.
• Strong numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise way.
• Experience building effective stakeholder relationships.
• Commercial awareness and critical thinking skills.
• Experience using analytical tools and techniques.
• Exposure to AI tools or analytics technologies is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver forecasts and performance updates for stakeholders across Commercial, Finance and Network teams.
• Analyse commercial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Support target setting and performance improvement through modelling and insight.
• Investigate areas of concern and provide clear recommendations backed by data.
• Monitor performance against business objectives and commercial plans.
• Assess competitor activity and market performance.
• Evaluate pricing, product and proposition changes.
• Prepare and present findings to a range of audiences, including senior stakeholders.
• Work with partner airlines to understand wider market and network performance.
• Leverage AI-driven tools to transform analytical processes, generate actionable insights and provide data-led recommendations.
