Job summary

Network Plus is seeking a Commercial Analyst to support the Commercial Manager in Bristol. You will drive efficiencies, manage project costs and regional performance while handling all financial aspects of projects, ensuring alignment with the Schedule of Cost Components.

You will lead the accounting process, maximise margins, manage Target Price, and identify risks and opportunities to improve financial performance.

Qualifications

Degree qualification (RICS accredited or equivalent) desirable.
Experience in the Utilities industry.
Experience with Compensation Events and Early Warnings in fast-paced utilities/infrastructure environments.
Direct experience with NEC3 or NEC4 Option C desirable.
Ability to prioritise workload under tight time pressures.
Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Manage and monitor project costs including weekly P&L reporting.
Review contract documents and advise on issues.
Track progress and cash flow forecast information.
Produce and review commercial forecasts, CVRs and Project Finance Reports.
Identify and mitigate risks of Disallowed Cost with robust records and procurement procedures.
Manage Subcontract Forecasting, Orders, and terms negotiations.
Prepare subcontract documents, enquiries and quotations assessments.
Place subcontract orders and certifications for valuations, payments and final accounts.
Manage change control, risk and value management; track variations and notices.
Attend risk reviews and commercial meetings on-site with the client.
Be involved with tenders and pricing; assist Credit Control with cash forecasting.
