Commercial Accountant – up to 48,000 per annum - Belfast

Your new company
Our client is a large global manufacturer. They currently have an opportunity for an accountant in their team for a passionate candidate to join this exciting industry.

Your new role
They are looking for a Commercial Accountant who will be responsible for gathering data and information, organising and analysing financial results, making forecasts and projections, and developing recommendations. They require someone who is willing to adapt to the job fully and more specifically you’ll be responsible for performing period end activities, management reporting, ensuring data accuracy, participating in the budgeting and forecasting process, participating in operational meetings and day-to-day site management, and actively contributing to knowledge sharing.

What you’ll need to succeed
You will ideally be a qualified accountant, newly or recently qualified. If you are qualified by experience and have worked within manufacturing, you will also be considered. This role will require you to be passionate about the company and have a basic understanding of the systems used in finance. Having strong organisational and planning skills will help you fully succeed in this job, along with significant technical accounting knowledge. A requirement of the role will be to communicate the detailed analysis to their senior management team; therefore, you need good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong Finance/IT systems experience is suggested.
