Commercial Account Manager (German speaking) London / WFH to £60k

As a Commercial Account Manager you will manage a manage a portfolio of high-value clients in the energy trading sector in German speaking countries. You'll be the primary commercial contact, responsible for driving revenue, identifying client needs and delivering innovative solutions that help clients succeed; this is a consultative sales and account management role focused on growing existing relationships and uncovering new opportunities within your portfolio to upsell products and add value to the client. You won't be required to do new business development or cold calling.

You'll proactively identify opportunities within existing accounts and generate leads through strategic account development, acting as a strong internal advocate for your clients, collaborating with product, technical and leadership teams to lead the sales cycle and deliver impactful solutions.

Location / WFH:

You can work from home most of the time, meeting up with colleagues once a week in the City offices, when there you can you enjoy a range of facilities including large kitchen, café, roof top bar, showers and all the latest kit to work on.

About you:

  • You have fluent English and German language skills
  • You have strong sales / commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • You have a strong understanding of energy markets, specifically Gas and Power energy trading markets
  • You have excellent communication and influencing skills and enjoy working with clients and building relationships, comfortable taking clients out
  • You're tech savvy
