Job summary

Howden Consumer & Local Commercial is seeking a Commercial Account Handler to build relationships with clients and support the quoting process. You will work with the Branch Manager to achieve objectives and assist Executives in renewals, while ensuring FCA compliance and quality service.

This role offers exposure to a broad client base and non-standard requirements, with opportunities to develop professional qualifications and advance within the team.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail when reviewing client documentation to support quoting processes.
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and external contacts.
• Assist Commercial Account Executives in achieving high renewal retention and meeting FCA requirements.
• Willing to learn and progress your career as a Commercial Account Handler.
• Work to progress professional qualifications and adapt to changing daily tasks.
• Ability to process data promptly and accurately on relevant systems to support client service and analysis.

We are actively looking for a Commercial Account Handler to join our Howden Consumer & Local Commercial team. Our local Commercial team have grown rapidly over the last 14 years', and we now have over 200 people within the team across the UK. In this role you will be responsible for building rapport with new and existing clients, who could range from sole traders, through to the MD/CEO of a large organisation, and working closely with the Branch Manager to achieve

objectives.

About you:

• You will have strong attention to detail as you will be reviewing client documentation, ensuring the information is comprehensive and accurate to support the quoting process
• You must have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and external contacts to ensure we meet expectations and compliance standards
• You will be assisting the Commercial Account Executives in achieving high levels of renewal retention, whilst exceeding customer expectations and meeting FCA requirements.
