Job summary

Howden is seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join its Consumer & Local Commercial team. You will build rapport with new and existing clients, from sole traders to large organisations, and work with the Branch Manager to hit targets.

You will review client documentation for accuracy to support quoting, maintain relationships with internal and external contacts to meet FCA standards, and help Account Executives improve renewal retention.

We are actively looking for a Commercial Account Handler to join our Howden Consumer & Local Commercial team. Our local Commercial team have grown rapidly over the last 14 years', and we now have over 200 people within the team across the UK. In this role you will be responsible for building rapport with new and existing clients, who could range from sole traders, through to the MD/CEO of a large organisation, and working closely with the Branch Manager to achieve objectives.

About you:

You will have strong attention to detail as you will be reviewing client documentation, ensuring the information is comprehensive and accurate to support the quoting process

You must have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and external contacts to ensure we meet expectations and compliance standards

You will be assisting the Commercial Account Executives in achieving high levels of renewal retention, whilst exceeding customer expectations and meeting FCA requirements.
