A leading insurance agency is seeking a Commercial Account Handler to support agency partners and manage client insurance policies. Salary: Dependant on experience Full Time position
Permanent Contract
Location: Kendal
Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Kendal Agency.
About the role
• Providing first hand support to the agency Partners and their clients which includes managing their renewal book, administration, and processing of general insurance policies
• Managing your own book of renewals which will include farms and businesses along with their personal insurances.
• Providing first class service to our clients whilst demonstrating the expert advice and knowledge we are known for.
• Handling general enquiries, new quotations, policy alterations, sales tasks, and administration with a can-do proactive attitude.
• Identifying and advising on a wide range of products to ensure we are fully protecting our clients which will include utilising our financial and risk management proposition.
• Liaising with underwriters and other key stakeholders regarding customer requirements.
• Building and maintaining long term relationships with our clients and other stakeholders.
• Transacting business and documentation compliantly within FCA requirements and always with a ‘customer-centric’ approach.
About you
• Able to build relationships through effective written and verbal communication skills both on the phone and face to face.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Able to work to strict deadlines within a compliant environment and manage a complex workload.
• Strong IT skills especially Microsoft Office and quick to adapt to new systems.
• Hard working and a great team player
• Be able to problem solve and use own initiative whilst demonstrating attributes of honesty, integrity, skill, due care, and diligence.
• A desire to be the best
• Commercial insurance experience would be an advantage, but not essential as full training package provided.
Qualifications Required
• Minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including Maths and English or equivalent experience.
