Overview

We are looking to recruit a Commercial Handler to join our encouraging and ambitious Leisure team out of our Gloucester office! Our commercial Leisure team is composed of tight-knit, supportive, and vibrant like-minded individuals who aim to make a difference in client servicing.

As a Commercial Account Handler, you will be responsible for supporting your peers to meet client demands, achieve both renewal retention and growth rates, and work closely with Regional Account Managers.

How you'll make an impact
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met effectively and efficiently
  • Handle policy renewals, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Process mid-term adjustments (MTAs) and policy endorsements as required
  • Identify and act upon new-business opportunities, using sound judgement to recommend them if appropriate
  • Respond to client queries promptly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth and seamless service delivery
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and product knowledge
  • Assist in the development and implementation of client retention strategies
  • Provide support to the Account Executives and other team members as needed
About You
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within the insurance industry, would be ideal
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional telephone manner
  • Self-motivated and driven, with a strong desire to succeed
  • Ambitious and eager to learn and grow within the organisation
  • Demonstrates a high level of professionalism and ethical conduct
  • Eligible to work in the UK
