Job summary

Condé Nast is seeking a Commerce Director who will oversee Vogue and GQ commerce across Germany, Italy, France, and Spain. The role leads a team of writers and editors, driving revenue, partnerships, and editorial alignment with business goals.

The position reports to global commerce leadership and requires building an overarching strategy, nurturing key brand partnerships, and delivering growth across markets while maintaining brand voice and standards.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of the fashion industry, including ecommerce.
• 5+ years of experience building an ecommerce or affiliate commerce business.
• Merchandising and partnerships experience preferred.
• Proven vendor/partner relationship management with a commercial viewpoint.
• Experience in managing and coaching a small team.
• Comfortable with revenue forecasting and planning.

Responsibilities

• Own commerce revenue across Vogue and GQ in multiple markets.
• Develop differentiated commerce proposition for readers and partners.
• Deliver growth through long-term strategic plans and tactical opportunities.
• Rebuild merchandise assortment strategy to support editorial and commercial metrics.
• Build merchandising tools to optimize category mix, brand portfolio, and pricing.
• Develop and maintain retail and brand partnerships.
• Lead with partnerships to grow revenue from enterprise accounts.
• Collaborate on affiliate, dropship, and hybrid opportunities.
