Tata Steel UK is seeking a Combustion Systems Engineer to join the Packing and Annealing department in Trostre. You will provide, maintain and develop engineering services for combustion systems across end-to-end control, monitoring, electrical, electronic, mechanical and instrumentation aspects.
The role requires degree-educated engineers with knowledge of gas, air, electrical & instrumentation systems and a strong understanding of process safety and functional safety in combustion

To provide, maintain and develop engineering services for combustion systems in Area 1. Where combustion systems are defined as end-to-end systems from control and monitoring to the burner, including all electrical, electronic, mechanical and instrument systems.
Ideally be educated to degree level in engineering combined with experience in the Steel and/or Tinplate industry at an appropriate level.
Have knowledge of gas, air, electrical & instrumentation systems and the ability to communicate this to personnel at all levels.
Understand how Process Safety and Functional Safety are applied to combustion systems.
