Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust in Coventry is seeking an experienced colorectal nurse practitioner to join the Colorectal USC team. The post holder will deliver autonomous nursing care, lead nurse-led clinics, and support the urgent cancer pathway.

You will contribute to governance, policy development, and service improvement, with training and supervision provided. The role emphasizes leadership, communication and teamwork within a dynamic oncology nursing service.

Qualifications

Autonomous practice in colorectal cancer care.
Experience leading nurse-led clinics.
Strong communication and leadership abilities.
Ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

Lead nurse-led clinics for colorectal pathway and assess patients by phone and in person.
Provide high-quality autonomous nursing care within the USC service.
Contribute to governance, policies and guidelines across departments.
Monitor budget and resources for colorectal nursing services as directed.
Develop, implement and evaluate projects to improve patient care and service delivery.
