Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking an experienced colorectal nurse to join the Colorectal Nurse Practitioners, delivering the urgent suspected cancer pathway for patients. The post holder will practice autonomously and provide advanced knowledge in relation to colorectal cancer.

You will facilitate nurse-led clinics, assess patients over the telephone and in face-to-face clinics.

Qualifications

• Qualified nurse with active NMC registration and colorectal experience.
• Evidence of autonomous practice in complex settings.
• Experience leading nurse-led clinics or service improvement.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate nurse-led clinics and assess patients via telephone and face-to-face.
• Provide autonomous clinical care and contribute to service development.
• Demonstrate leadership, innovation and effective teamwork within colorectal USC.
• Support governance and budget awareness across colorectal nursing resources.
