Job summary
University of Cambridge's Girton College is seeking a College Electrician to join the Maintenance Department on a full-time basis. The role involves delivering electrical services to the main site and external properties, with 37.5 hours per week.
You will run planned maintenance, perform repairs and servicing, and keep the Maintenance Manager informed of works and safety compliance. After probation you may join the on-call rota for out-of-hours cover.
Qualifications
- Experience of electrical maintenance in a college facility.
- Ability to work within a maintenance team.
- Commitment to safety policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Provide electrical servicing to Girton College main site and external properties.
- Perform planned maintenance, repairs and servicing of electrical equipment.
- Regularly update the Maintenance Manager on works carried out and large works required for compliance and safety.
