Groupe Adéquat UK (GA UK) is recruiting a Maintenance Electrician to maintain electrical systems across a large academic estate, including buildings, student accommodation and facilities. The role is foot-mobile across a campus and requires physical fitness.

You will handle preventative and reactive maintenance, fault-finding, and safe isolation, while supporting health and safety checks. Excellent communication with colleagues and contractors is essential.

Qualifications

• Level 3 electrical qualification (NVQ or City & Guilds).
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671).
• Experience as a maintenance electrician in commercial, education, residential or facilities management.
• Knowledge of electrical maintenance, fault-finding and safe isolation procedures.
• Understanding of health and safety requirements including risk assessments and permit-to-work.

Responsabilités

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive electrical repairs.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in campus buildings, residences and plant rooms.
• Maintain systems including lighting, emergency lighting, small power and distribution boards.
• Support health and safety checks and statutory compliance.
• Collaborate with other maintenance disciplines and contractors.
• Provide professional service to students, staff and visitors.
