Job summary

Aramark UK is seeking a Coffee Shop Supervisor to manage a busy coffee shop in a college environment in Walthamstow, London. The role requires leadership of a small team, delivering excellent customer service and food quality while ensuring efficient operations.

You will oversee stock, ordering, tills, and safety standards, with a 35-hour week (Mon–Fri) term-time contract and equated pay. A supportive team and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar supervisory role (hospitality/food service)
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to manage workloads and prioritise tasks
• Experience delegating and supporting team members
• Strong organisational skills
• Cash handling and till operation experience
• Ability to work confidently in a busy environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the coffee shop within a college environment
• Manage daily supplies, stock levels and ordering requirements
• Serve customers and maintain an outstanding customer experience
• Support management with smooth running of the operation
• Supervise and support team members during service
• Delegate tasks and ensure high standards are met
• Operate tills and handle cash and card transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety and presentation
