We are seeking a dedicated Collections Registrar to join our registrar team. The role involves supporting object acquisition, lending, borrowing, and other collections activities across the museum.
Working alongside curators, conservators, collection care, and documentation colleagues, this position will facilitate and coordinate collections activities such as loans, entries, exits, acquisitions, and disposals. Based at London Museum Spaces (London Wall), but working across various sites and stores, you will perform tasks with high accuracy and enjoy resolving complex logistical and documentation challenges. The ideal candidate will be organized, self-motivated, and capable of prioritizing their workload. We also value team players with excellent communication skills.
Applicants should have recent experience working with collections in a registrarial capacity (e.g., arranging loans and acquisitions) and possess knowledge of museum documentation processes. Practical experience with museum collections management systems, handling and packing objects, and coordinating transportation and insurance for collections is essential.
