Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking Delivery Drivers to collect parcels and letters on a fixed route, serving communities across the UK. The role involves driving or walking, with a focus on efficiency and high customer service standards as part of a longstanding national service.

The position is full-time, typically five days a week, with shift hours from 11:00 to 18:30. A valid UK driving licence (max six points), and at least one year of experience with transit vans are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Royal Mail are now looking for Delivery Drivers to collect parcels and letters. We are now looking for Delivery Drivers to be a part of this world-class service. You will be responsible for collecting parcels and letters quickly and efficiently, by driving and/or walking on a dedicated route, whilst maintaining our high integrity standards and demonstrating friendly customer service! Other duties may also include sorting of mail/parcels within the delivery office.

• The role is working a minimum of 5 days a week between the days of Monday to Friday. (Shift times may vary) Shift time is 11:00 - 18:30 Basic pay rate - £16.24ph Temporary
• As a Collections Driver, you will need the following:
• Full UK driving licence, with no more than six points. (Subject to conditions)
• A minimum of 1 year experience in driving transit size vans.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Upbeat and self-motivated.
• Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather.
• Good level of fitness to meet demands of the role.
• Excellent organisational skills.
