Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring Delivery Drivers to collect parcels and letters in London and surrounding areas. You will drive and/or walk a dedicated route, collecting mail with a focus on efficiency, accuracy and friendly service.

The role includes sorting mail/parcels in the delivery office. A DBS check is required during the application process.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than six points.
• At least 1 year experience driving transit-sized vans.
• Strong customer service and self-motivation.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and be fit for the role.
• Good level of fitness to meet the demands of the role.
• Excellent organisational skills and resilience/flexibility.

Royal Mail deliver letters and parcels every day to people throughout the country and are relied on by communities across the UK. We are now looking for Delivery Drivers to be a part of this world-class service.

You will be responsible for collecting parcels and letters quickly and efficiently, by driving and/or walking on a dedicated route, whilst maintaining our high integrity standards and demonstrating friendly customer service! Other duties may also include sorting of mail/parcels within the delivery office.

• The role is working a minimum of 5 days a week between the days of Monday to Friday. (Shift times may vary)
• Shift time is 13:30 - 18:30
• Basic pay rate - £13.69ph
• Temporary

As a Collections Driver, you will need the following:

• Full UK driving licence, with no more than six points. (Subject to conditions)
• A minimum of 1 year experience in driving transit size vans.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Upbeat and self-motivated.
• Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather.
• Good level of fitness to meet demands of the role.
• Excellent organisational skills.
