Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Collections Driver in Chatham, delivering and collecting mail across a route with a 14:00–19:00 shift. You will walk, lift and sort bags, collaborating with the delivery team to ensure timely routing.

The role requires a full UK driving licence with up to 6 points, a positive, customer‑facing approach, and the ability to work five days across Mon–Sun in all weather conditions. Permanent contract with benefits."

Hours: 25.00 hours per week, working 5 days across Mon-Sun, working between 14:00 and 19:00

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full‑time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part‑time in the employment contract.

As a Collection Driver, you’re expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
