Job summary

Tru Talent is seeking a reliable Collection & Delivery Driver (Class 1) in Reading, Berkshire. You will be responsible for the safe collection and delivery of customer vehicles and supporting the workshop team as needed.

This full-time, permanent role offers a Monday-to-Friday late shift (15:30-00:00) with overtime opportunities and a daily shift allowance. A valid Class 1 licence and full UK driving experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Valid Class 1 / Category C+E licence.
• Previous professional driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver customer vehicles safely and on time.
• Provide excellent customer service during vehicle collections and deliveries.
• Complete vehicle handovers and relevant paperwork accurately.
• Carry out road tests and brake tests when required.
• Assist the workshop and yard team with vehicle movements.
• Help maintain a clean, tidy and organised workshop and yard.
• Ensure vehicles are handled safely and professionally at all times.
• Support the wider team with general duties when required.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Collection & Delivery Driver / HGV Driver / Class 1 Driver to join a busy commercial vehicle team in Reading.

You will be responsible for the safe and timely collection and delivery of customer vehicles, while also supporting the wider workshop team when required.
