Job summary

Standard Life is seeking a Collateral and Liquidity Specialist in London or Birmingham to join our Asset Management COO – Treasury Operations. You will analyse collateral and liquidity, work with stakeholders, and help evolve our framework to manage risk and regulatory requirements.

This role combines hands-on analysis with strategic improvement, offering exposure to OTC derivatives, collateral funding models and robust regulatory reporting.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of OTC derivatives and collateral funding models.
• Understanding of the trade lifecycle across fixed income and derivatives.
• Experience using complex data to support regulatory reporting and MI.
• Ability to investigate, challenge and communicate what the data shows.
• Proactive mindset to evolve and improve the collateral and liquidity framework.

Responsibilities

• Analyse collateral balances, margin requirements and liquidity positions to identify material movements.
• Oversee the Standard Life Longbox model and optimize collateral pools.
• Enhance reporting, controls, and the operating model through change initiatives.
• Understand regulatory developments and support liquidity-related reporting.
• Support integration of acquisitions, open-book business and BPA.
• Produce high-quality MI and communicate liquidity and collateral impacts clearly to stakeholders.
