Job summary

Hoop Recruitment Ltd is seeking a practical Multi-Skilled Handy Person to work in customers' homes. You will primarily focus on cold water plumbing (roughly 70%), with the rest covering general handyman and property maintenance tasks.

You’ll need to be reliable, respectful and able to work independently to keep homes safe and well maintained. The role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, maintenance and basic carpentry, plus strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing, property maintenance or multi-skilled maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose problems and find practical solutions.
• Good customer service skills and pride in workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out cold water plumbing repairs and installations.
• Repairing taps, valves, pipes, toilets and other fittings.
• Carrying out general property repairs and maintenance.
• Basic carpentry, joinery, tiling, patching and making good.
• Putting up grab rails and other home adaptations.
• Completing job sheets and paperwork accurately.
• Working safely and following procedures.
