Job summary

Galaxy Personnel seeks an FLT Counterbalance operator in the Snetterton area to safely operate forklift trucks in a temperature-controlled cold-store and loading bays. You will move raw materials, packaging and finished poultry while maintaining food safety standards.

Requirements include a valid FLT licence (RTITB/ITSSAR) for Counterbalance or Reach, 1+ year of forklift experience in a food production or FMCG environment, and the ability to work in cold environments.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in cold environments (chilled production halls and cold-stores).
• Strong team communication to coordinate with dispatch teams and operatives.

Responsibilities

• Operate FLT machinery (counterbalance) safely in cold production and chilled environments.
• Move palletised stock into chilled storage or blast freezers.
• Load/unload vehicles with raw poultry, packaging and dry goods.
• Supply production lines with crates, pallets and packaging to avoid downtime.
