Job summary

Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group, is seeking a driver to deliver frozen meals to customers across the UK. The role combines coldstore picking with on-road delivery, in a shift pattern of 32 hours per week over 4 days in 6, including bank holidays.

The position emphasizes excellent customer service, adherence to safety, and teamwork, with protective clothing for -20ºC environments and a bonus scheme alongside benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service-based roles.
• Full UK manual driving licence held for at least 2 years.
• Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps.
• Evidence of work stability.
• Basic secondary education completed.
• Experience in multi-drop delivery.
• Experience in a care-based role.
• Warehouse experience.
• Health and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen meals to customers in a timely manner.
• Picking orders within the coldstore.
• Using our app to update customer deliveries.
• Delivering exceptional customer service at all times.
• Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van.
• Drive safely, responsibly and within the law.
• Clean and refuel your van as and when needed.
• Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays.
• Ensure customer confidentiality.
• Helping the office team and picking team when required.
• Reporting health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues.
• Assist the team if another member of the team is absent or on holiday.
• Carry out local marketing activities such as leaflet door drops and sheltered housing visits to attract new customers.
