Job summary

apetito Limited is seeking a part-time Driver to deliver frozen Wiltshire Farm Foods meals to customers across Preston and surrounding areas. You will work 24 hours per week, 3 days in a 6-day pattern, and operate in a -20°C coldstore environment with protective clothing provided.

You must hold a UK manual driving licence for at least 2 years and pass DBS checks. The role includes picking orders, using an app to update deliveries, and offering excellent customer service while adhering to legal

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service-based role.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen meals to customers in a timely manner.
• Pick orders within the coldstore.
• Use our app to update customers deliveries.
• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
• Carry out pre-shift inspection of your van.
• Drive safely, responsibly and within the law.
• Clean and refuel your van as needed.
• Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays.
• Ensure customer confidentiality.
• Assist the team when required.
• Report health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues.
• Support other team members when needed.
• Carry out local marketing activities to attract new customers.
