Job summary

Wiltshire Farm Foods, part of the apetito group, is seeking a delivery driver to bring meals to customers across the area. You will be delivering frozen Wiltshire Farm Foods meals and supporting the office and picking teams as needed.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, good customer service, and the ability to work in a coldstore environment. Flexible hours include 4 in 6 days and shifts at £13.45 per hour with bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service-based role.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
• Basic computer literacy including use of phone apps.
• Evidence of work stability.
• Basic secondary education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver frozen meals to customers in a timely manner.
• Picking orders within the coldstore.
• Using our app to update customers deliveries.
• Delivering excellent customer service at all times.
• Undertake pre-shift inspection of your van.
• Drive safely, responsibly and within the law.
• Clean and refuel your van as and when needed.
• Contact the office with any discrepancies or delays.
• Ensure customer confidentiality.
• Helping the office team and picking team when required.
• Reporting health and safety, stock quality and mechanical issues.
• Assist the team if another member of the team is absent or on holiday.
• Carry out local marketing activities such as leaflet door drops and sheltered housing visits to attract new customers
