Job summary

Evapco manufactures heat transfer equipment and is hiring a production technician in the United Kingdom. You will perform daily to monthly maintenance, operate controls, and ensure materials and workmanship meet engineering specifications.

You will document production activities, manage workload to minimize tool changes, and participate in a safety-focused manufacturing environment with potential night shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Make quality checks to ensure materials, parts and process are compliant with engineering requirements.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Perform maintenance PM’s and manage production workload to maximize throughput.
• Complete all production and quality documentation.
• Operate controls and perform stop/mandrel adjustments for quality bends.
• Read tape measures and apply basic shop math as needed.

Job description

• Make quality checks to ensure materials, parts and process are compliant with engineering requirements
• Maintain a safe and clean work area
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance PM’s that are the operators’ responsibility
• Complete all production and quality documentation
• Able to make stop and mandrel adjustments to produce quality bends of tube
• Able to operate controls
• Manage production workload to minimize tooling changes and maximize throughput
• Make quality checks to ensure materials, parts and workmanship are compliant with engineering requirements and productions expectations

• Read a tape measure to within 1/16”
• A general understanding of common hand tools is preferred.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to read and understand all engineering prints related to the process

• Manufacturing environment
• Continuous standing, squatting, bending, pulling, and lifting throughout the workday
• Lifting of 50 lbs. or less
• Wear PPE when required – Manufacturing Areas
• Shift work, Nights (Monday through Thursday) and some Saturday’s and Sunday’s
• Assist in other areas of the shop when needed

Pay Range:

$49,071.36 - $64,571.52 per year
