Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd in Hungerford is seeking a Coffee Shop Manager to lead our busy coffee shop operation. You will manage the day-to-day activities, coach your team, and drive sales while maintaining high standards of food quality, service, and hygiene.

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll build a great workplace culture, optimise customer experience, and liaise with central support on stock and communications to keep the operation running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in a coffee shop, café or restaurant.
• Commercial awareness with budgeting and profitability focus.
• Strong coaching ability and team development.

Coffee Shop Manager | Hungerford | Full-Time | Dobbies Garden Centres

If you’re an experienced hospitality manager, restaurant manager, or café / Coffee Shop manager looking for your next role, this could be for you.

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll run the day‑to‑day coffee shop operation: leading the team, hitting sales targets whilst keeping food quality, hygiene and service standards high.

What You’ll Do

• Manage the busy coffee shop day-to-day, putting customers first
• Build a great place to work, coaching your team and supporting their development with Dobbies
• Drive a brilliant customer experience across the coffee shop
• Liaise with central support teams on stock, supply, and communication
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety and food hygiene regulations

• Proven management experience in a coffee shop, café, or restaurant environment
• Commercial awareness: comfortable managing budgets and driving profitability
• A strong coach: able to identify training needs and develop your team
• Adaptable and calm under pressure, especially during busy seasonal periods
