Manpower on-site fabrication shop in Birtley, Gateshead seeks an experienced Coded Welder to join the team fabricating stainless steel tanks, pipework and mild steel frames. Strong FCAW/Flux Core welding experience is required, with ASME IX coding for carbon steel preferred and GTAW/TIG for 316L stainless desirable.

The role is temporary to permanent, 40 hours per week, with potential overtime and weekend work.

Hours: 40 hours per week
Rate: Dependent on experience paid via CIS
Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent
We are looking for an experienced Coded Welder to join an established fabrication team. The successful candidate will work alongside the Fabrication & Welding Manager, welding stainless steel tanks, stainless steel pipework and mild steel frames.
The main requirement is strong experience in FCAW/Flux Core welding, with candidates ideally coded to ASME Section IX for Carbon Steel. Experience with GTAW/TIG welding of 316L stainless steel is also desirable.

Key Responsibilities
