Job summary

Gaucho Manchester is seeking a Cocktail Waiter/Waitress who loves hosting and making guests feel welcome. You’ll turn a round of drinks into an occasion with thoughtful recommendations and proactive service.

Bring experience from busy settings, a good knowledge of drinks, and comfort with tray service. You’ll thrive under pressure, while supporting colleagues and ensuring guests have a memorable visit.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy restaurant, bar or hotel.
• Good knowledge of drinks.
• Comfortable with tray service, organised under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Host guests in bar and lounge, manage your section from welcome to goodbye.
• Provide confident, personal recommendations from drinks menu.
• Take orders and serve cocktails, wine, spirits and non-alcoholic drinks with care.
• Collaborate with bartenders and restaurant team to keep service flowing.
• Read the table and anticipate the next order to enhance the guest experience.
• Keep tables and service areas clean and presentable.
