A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COCKTAIL BARTENDER AT THE MUNICIPAL HOTEL & SPA MGALLERY

What you'll be doing...

As a Cocktail Bartender, reporting to the Bar Manager, you will work closely with the team to provide exceptional service with a 'no half measures' attitude, ensuring a perfect guest experience.

• Preparing beverages efficiently and promptly.
• Providing a friendly, welcoming guest experience.
• Offering knowledge and creative drink recommendations.
• Assessing guest needs and preferences to make suitable recommendations.
• Making upsell suggestions where appropriate.
• Maintaining a clean and presentable bar.
• Operating Challenge 25 policy for safe alcohol service.
• Complying with food and beverage regulations.
• Adhering to pouring standards and completing regular tests.
• Handling tasks assigned by management and communicating issues.
• Setting up and maintaining cleanliness of the bar area.
• Preparing garnishes, stocking supplies, and transporting items as needed.

KEY SKILLS:

• Deep knowledge of in-house products and preparation methods.
• Strong understanding of classic cocktails.
• Knowledge of licensing objectives and Challenge 25.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Punctuality and reliability.
• Ability to work well within a team to meet brand and sales goals.
