Job summary

Harvey Nash is seeking an experienced Technical Lead / CA Gen Developer to drive a major Mainframe-to-Cloud transformation on a 12-month contract in the UK. You will lead technical efforts across CA Gen, COBOL, and Java while coordinating with stakeholders and teams across both Mainframe and Cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive CA Gen COBOL (Mainframe) and CA Gen Java (Cloud) expertise.
• Proven track record delivering Mainframe-to-Cloud transformations.
• Strong knowledge of COBOL, Java, DB2, IMS, JCL and MS SQL.
• Experience providing technical leadership in complex transformation programmes.
• Insurance domain experience is highly desirable and beneficial.

Technical Lead – CA Gen Developer / Mainframe Transformation Specialist

Contract: 12 Months

Location: UK-based, with occasional European travel

Rate: Up to £550 per day

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead / CA Gen Developer to join a major Mainframe-to-Cloud transformation programme on an initial 12-month contract.

You will provide technical leadership across the modernisation of legacy Mainframe applications, working across CA Gen, COBOL and Java within both Mainframe and Cloud environments.
