Job summary

Linde AMT UK Limited seeks a Production Manager in Swindon, UK to lead coating operations with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency. You will own the production plan and ensure resources align to customer demand while directing daily execution to achieve performance targets.

You will drive Lean initiatives, manage CI projects, and sustain Leadership Standard Work and 6S across the plant, contributing to OEE improvements and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management or equivalent leadership experience.
• 3–5 years leading production teams in manufacturing/regulatory environments.
• Proven track record delivering improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Productivity.
• Experience in production planning, capacity management, and execution of schedules.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, MDI, Leadership Standard Work and visual management.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher), IOSH/NEBOSH desirable; AS9100 knowledge.
• Experience with 6S principles and standardised work.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Operational Excellence activities in coating operations.
• Own production planning, ensuring capacity, labour, materials, and equipment align with demand.
• Lead daily execution of the production plan to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Productivity targets.
• Conduct daily performance reviews focused on key metrics and CI opportunities.
• Drive improvements in OEE, labour productivity, and customer service.
• Establish Standard Plant using Leadership Standard Work and 6S principles.
