Job summary

Balmoral Tanks seeks a proactive Coatings Engineer to advance Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) and Glass-Fused-to-Steel (GFS) coating technologies for critical infrastructure projects worldwide.

You will work hands-on to improve coating processes, support product development, and share knowledge across production, quality and technical teams, delivering safe, right‑first‑time results.

Balmoral Tanks is looking for a Coatings Engineer to help develop and improve the specialist coating technologies behind our market-leading products.

You’ll work with advanced Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) and Glass-Fused-to-Steel (GFS) coating systems used in critical infrastructure projects around the world.

Your background

You might already be working in coatings, process engineering, manufacturing or materials — or you may have built relevant experience in another technical environment.

Relevant backgrounds

Coatings Engineer, Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Materials Engineer, Surface Treatment Specialist or Technical Development Engineer.

Technical Experience

Experience in any of the following would be helpful, but curiosity, problem-solving ability and a willingness to learn are just as important:

Surface preparation, industrial coatings, FBE systems, enamelling, furnace technology, process improvement, laboratory testing and manufacturing quality systems.
