Job summary

Saltrock in Castleford invites a Sales Advisor to join our in-store Retail team on an 8 hour contract. You’ll work with an energetic team to deliver an excellent customer experience, process sales, and maintain store standards. Passion for our coastal brand and product helps drive confident service and store presentation daily.

You’ll help with stock, merchandising, and deliveries while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and accurate till operations, creating memorable visits for customers.

Qualifications

• A warm and friendly manner that fits with our culture.
• A passion for selling and interacting with customers.
• Recognition of the importance of strong visual merchandising.
• Competent at till operations and cash/card handling.
• Experience in retail would be desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Help achieve sales targets by demonstrating passion for the product and brand while processing sales transactions with care.
• Ensure customers have a positive, inviting store experience.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards for a healthy, safe store.
• Provide product information including features, benefits and stock availability.
• Assist with markdowns and price changes within set timescales.
• Keep products tidy, presentable and replenish as needed.
• Support merchandising in line with guidelines.
• Process deliveries.
