Job summary

The Recruitment Group in Charnwood, near Loughborough, is seeking a Laser Machine Operator and Setter. You will set up and run CO2 laser systems, program with CorelDraw and AutoCAD, and interpret drawings to produce high-quality parts.

Training is provided, with a 40-hour week and overtime. Basic salary ranges from £26,437 to £28,080 depending on experience, with negotiable terms for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CO2 laser machines.
• Knowledge of CorelDraw or similar software.
• Read technical drawings and identify safe tasks.
• Positive attitude and reliable timekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CO2 Laser machines to produce high-quality products.
• Use CorelDraw to program machines and make changes in AutoCAD.
• Read technical drawings and determine safe, efficient task execution.
• Work with printed plastic sheets and jig moldings according to designs.
• Ensure high-quality output and verify against drawings.
• Perform routine checks and maintenance on machines.
