Job summary

The Recruitment Group in Loughborough is seeking a dedicated CO2 Laser Machine operator and Setter. You will set up and run Trotec CO2 laser equipment to produce precise parts from plastic sheet material, while following strict health and safety guidelines.

You will program and adjust drawings using CorelDraw and AutoCAD, interpret technical drawings, and ensure high quality output with accurate tooling and processes. The role requires reliability and a proactive attitude.

Qualifications

• Experience programming CO2 laser machinery with CorelDraw or similar.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
• A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating Trotec CO2 Laser machines producing a high-quality finish to tight tolerances.
• Programming the laser machines using CorelDraw and editing drawings in AutoCAD.
• Understand and interpret technical drawings to determine tooling and methods.
