Comton Group is seeking an experienced Laser Programmer to join its manufacturing team in the UK. The role focuses on programming and operating a 3kW laser for tube and flat materials, with CAD input and production planning to meet deadlines and quality standards.

The successful candidate will have experience with laser cutting machinery, CAD input, and a proactive approach to maintaining machine efficiency and safety in a busy production environment.

Qualifications

• Experience programming and operating laser cutting machinery.
• Experience working with tube and flat laser materials.
• Knowledge of a 3kW laser and CAD input processes.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate a 3kW tube and flat laser to produce parts.
• Produce programs from CAD drawings and customer specs.
• Prepare jobs for production with CAD input and clear documentation.
