Job summary

North Kent Mind is seeking an experienced Co-production and Participation Lead to drive meaningful youth participation and co-production across CYP services and the Medway Therapeutic Alliance. You will design inclusive engagement opportunities, support diverse groups, and ensure their voices shape service design and governance.

Reporting to the Lived Experience Manager, you will collaborate with partners, mentors and staff to embed trauma-informed practices, capture impact, and build pathways

Qualifications

• Experience in participation, co-production, youth engagement, community development or mental health.
• Experience of planning and delivering participation activities with children and young people.
• Ability to analyse feedback to improve services.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination and delivery of co-production and participation activity across CYP Services and MTA partner organisations.
• Ensure meaningful opportunities for children, young people, parents, carers and families to influence service design, delivery and governance.
• Develop and maintain participation opportunities (panels, advisory groups, focus groups, consultations, reviews, governance forums).
• Recruit and engage diverse children, young people and families, including underrepresented groups.
• Promote trauma-informed participation practices and remove barriers to involvement.
• Support young people to build confidence, skills and leadership, creating pathways into volunteering and employment.
• Embed 'You Said, We Did' with evidence of impact reported to stakeholders.
• Provide guidance to colleagues and partner organisations on co-production practice.
