Job summary

Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated individual to help shape services for children, young people and families. You will work in partnership with people who use services to ensure Mindworks designs reflect their needs, experiences and voices.

Lived experience of engaging with youth mental health services is highly valued and will inform co-design across the alliance. You will collaborate with schools, Mindworks partners and Surrey County Council Users Voice

Qualifications

• Recent first-hand experience of accessing or navigating youth mental health services.
• Experience in co-design or participation initiatives with children, young people or families.
• Ability to engage diverse stakeholders and facilitate collaborative planning.

Responsibilities

• Support our participation strategy implementation.
• Directly engage with children, young people and families.
• Perform administration and coordination duties.
• Partnership working.
• Engaging with staff at all levels to promote participation initiatives.
• Networking with schools, Mindworks partners and other organisations.
• Connect with participation colleagues across Surrey to align approaches.
• Support induction on participation and co-production.
• Lead Amplify, a youth-led Shadow Board.
