Job summary

Yeo Valley Production Ltd, a British co-owned company, is seeking production operatives to join its Somerset-area manufacturing sites. The role focuses on operating a range of machinery, packing products, and maintaining high hygiene standards within a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (0600–1800).

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery (filling, packing, forming or CNC)
• Good communication skills
• Effective numeracy and literacy for documentation and record-keeping
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role
• Personal commitment to high cleaning and hygiene standards
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts
• Highly engaged, a good team player
• Ability to work unsupervised

Responsibilities

• Embrace Health & Safety and Quality requirements.
• Pack well-known products.
• Operate a wide variety of machinery (filling, packing, forming or CNC machines).
• Demonstrate a commitment to delivery, leading by example; complete paperwork accurately.
• Apply current GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
• Take apart, clean and rebuild production equipment.
