Job summary

The role focuses on creating accurate CNC programmes and nesting layouts for bespoke furniture, preparing tooling, and supporting machine operators throughout production.

You should have a hands-on background in bench joinery or cabinet making, with proven CNC programming and nesting experience, and a methodical approach to tooling and workflow improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience as a bench joiner or cabinet maker with strong understanding of joinery manufacturing.
• Proven CNC programming and nesting experience in a woodworking/furniture environment.
• Good understanding of tooling, machining strategies and production processes; ability to troubleshoot programming issues.
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
• Good communication skills and ability to train machine operators.

CNC Programmer – Bespoke Joinery & Cabinet Making

We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join a busy joinery and furniture manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in bench joinery or cabinet making, with a strong understanding of how bespoke furniture and joinery are manufactured.

This role would suit someone who has progressed from a hands-on joinery or cabinet-making background into CNC programming and can prepare accurate, efficient programmes for machine operators to run.
