Job summary

Hughes is seeking a motivated CNC Machinist to join their engineering team in the UK. The ideal candidate will be an experienced CNC Setter/Operator with proficiency in Fanuc control systems and Mazatrol programming for Integrex and HMC machines.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, setting up machines, and producing high-quality components with strict tolerances. You will also plan tooling needs and conduct first-off inspections.

Qualifications

• Experienced CNC programmer/setter/operator with Fanuc control experience.
• Proficient with Mazatrol language and Mazak Integrex and HMC machines.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and use inspection equipment.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality components in line with drawings.
• Set up and operate CNC turning machines with minimal supervision.
• Plan tooling requirements and fixtures for production runs.
• Carry out first-off inspection and ensure programmes are saved per procedures.
