Job summary

HR GO Group is recruiting CNC Turners for a permanent position in Saffron Walden, Essex. Salary £18-£22 per hour, depending on experience.

The role involves setting and operating Mazak or Fanuc controlled CNC lathes to tight tolerances, with programming a bonus. You will also set tooling, offsets and run jobs efficiently, performing first-off and in-process checks.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Operator in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Mazak (Mazatrol) and/or Fanuc controls.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerances.
• Confident using measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, verniers, bore gauges).
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a quality-first mindset.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

CNC Turner - Setter / Operator (Mazak or Fanuc) opportunities in this busy Aerospace Precision Engineering company.

We're recruiting strong CNC Setter/Operators for a rapidly expanding subcontract aerospace precision engineering company. This is a hands-on role for experienced machinists who can confidently set and run jobs to tight tolerances using Mazak (Mazatrol) or Fanuc controls.

Programming experience is a bonus, but not essential.

Key Responsibilities
