Job summary

HR GO Recruitment is seeking CNC turners for a precision engineering subcontractor known for high-precision components across Formula One, aerospace and military sectors. You will set and operate Fanuc CNC lathes, load programmes, and adjust offsets to hit exact dimensions.

Responsibilities include turning components from various metals, inspecting parts, and maintaining right-first-time quality while collaborating with production, programming and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
• Commitment to ensuring high quality and right-first-time output.

• Produce high-precision turned components in a range of metals.
• Work to tight tolerances and complex geometries from detailed drawings.
• Perform first-off and in-process inspections, maintaining quality throughout the batch.
• Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy and right-first-time output.
• Work closely with production, programming and quality teams.
• Keep machines and work area clean, safe and well organised.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and cycle times.

CNC turners required for expansion at this exceptional sub contract precision engineering company - The company produces complex, high-precision components for industries including Formula One, aerospace and military applications, machining a wide range of metals to extremely tight tolerances. If you're a machinist who wants to work with the best new equipment and resources on often complex parts then is the opportunity you've been looking for.
