Job summary

Swift Temps South West is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join a growing specialist engineering and sub-contract manufacturing business in a permanent role. You will program, set and operate CNC lathes, using precision measurement tools to produce high-quality parts and assemblies.

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, maintaining tight tolerances, and identifying production issues are key parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a CNC Turner.
• Strong CNC machinery and tooling skills.
• Experience using precision measurement equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Good mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with drive for results and improvement.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.
