Adnet Precision in Gloucester is hiring a CNC Turner Setter/Operator to support their busy turning section. The role requires a time served apprentice and experience with Fanuc (G-Code) controls, as well as a proactive attitude to assist the team in achieving good efficiencies.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Achieve good efficiencies as part of the team.

About the Role: We require a CNC Turner Setter/Operator to assist in our busy turning section.

Responsibilities

• A time served machining apprenticeship.
• Experience on Fanuc (G‑Code) controls to assist in running our turning section while using sliding head, bar‑feeding and chucking lathes.
• Experience in setting mill/turn machines would be desirable.
• Experience in programming would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Time served apprentice at level 2 or 3, ONC or equivalent.
• Working within Sub‑con precision machine shop.
• Problem solving and innovation.
• Willingness to help the team achieve good efficiencies.
• Ability to work unsupervised and part of a team.
• Work proactively.
• Extensive experience in manufacturing.
• Programming experience would be an advantage.
• Experience in Milling would be an advantage.
• Experience working to ISO9001 standards.
• Applicant must be from and live in the UK.

Gloucester, easy access from M5.
