Job summary

Adnet Precision in Gloucester is hiring a CNC Turner Setter/Operator to support their busy turning section. The role requires a time served apprentice and experience with Fanuc (G-Code) controls, as well as a proactive attitude to assist the team in achieving good efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Experience in setting mill/turn machines preferable.
• Programming experience advantageous.
• Applicant must reside in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the busy turning section.
• Run turning section using sliding head, bar-feeding, and chucking lathes.
• Achieve good efficiencies as part of the team.

Skills

Experience on Fanuc (G-Code) controls

Problem solving

Willingness to help the team

Ability to work unsupervised

Extensive manufacturing experience

Education

Time served apprentice at level 2 or 3, ONC or equivalent
